In 1990, the membership of Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus recognized the need to move our congregation and construct a new sanctuary and school on Ives Dairy Road where most of our families had moved. The beautiful Scheck Family Sanctuary was completed in 1995 and has served our Beth Torah community well for more than 25 years.
In 2018, after careful consideration, it was determined to embark on our current project to renovate the Sanctuary to accommodate changing times. Only after we had already invested the resources needed to provide the most excellent Jewish education possible for our children, we decided that it was time to invest in beautifying and upgrading the space in which we gather to worship, mourn, and celebrate.
“The kind of sanctuary we are dedicating is a sanctuary that meets our spiritual needs today. We will be able to accommodate our diverse community by offering several services at the same time. We will always remember that during most uncertain times, as a sign of faith in our future, we invested in our spiritual home. A home we are now so happy to come back to worship in person, together, in strength.”
