A Journey of Community and Connection

The Dedication of Our October 8th Torah
Three Years Later. One Torah. One Heart.
On Thursday, October 8, 2026, our Beth Torah family will gather to dedicate the Torah of October 8th—a sacred Torah created in response to one of the most difficult moments in Jewish history and a lasting symbol of resilience, hope, unity, and our enduring connection to the Jewish people.
What began in February 2025 as an extraordinary community journey will culminate in a historic celebration exactly three years after October 7.

We invite you to be part of this unforgettable evening.

A Journey That Brought Us Together

For nearly two years, our community has come together to write a Torah unlike any other.
Families, children, grandparents, Holocaust survivors, students, clergy, and friends from around the world have all helped write the Torah of October 8th—creating not only a sacred scroll, but a lasting testament to Jewish resilience.
Now, we invite our entire community to celebrate the completion of this remarkable journey.

There Is Still Time to Be Part of History

Whether you’ve participated from the beginning or are just learning about this extraordinary project, there is still an opportunity to become part of its legacy.
Honor or remember someone special by dedicating a Torah book, portion, word, or letter, or make an additional contribution in support of this historic Torah before it is dedicated.
Every participation helps ensure that this Torah continues to inspire generations to come.

From Tragedy to Torah

Three years after October 7, our community chose to respond not with despair, but with hope.
Together, we created a Torah that will be read, celebrated, and cherished for generations.
This is more than the dedication of a Torah.
It is the dedication of our community’s strength, faith, and future.

We Hope You'll Join Us

Whether by attending the dedication, dedicating a letter, or making an additional contribution, we invite you to become part of this extraordinary story.
Together, we didn’t just write a Torah.
We wrote a legacy.
